Assumption High School Batch 2000 brings wellness, womanhood, and a whole lot of soul to life through “Beats. Breathe. Beast.”

There’s something magnetic about the way Assumption girls come together — even after 25 years. When Batch 2000 gathered for Beats. Breathe. Beast., it wasn’t just a reunion. It was a pulse-check. A joyful pause. A collective inhale and exhale before the beat drops again — this time, into their upcoming Silver Jubilee celebration.

Stretch, smile, repeat. Batch 2000 bends it like Assumptionistas — with babies, besties, and bottled juice in tow!

The event was a collaborative creation of wellness brands Sexy Beast Juice and Flow Retreats, both proudly powered by women from Batch 2000. From idea to execution, it became a meaningful way to reconnect, reminisce, and revive the bonds formed in high school halls — only now, in leggings, barefoot on mats, and fueled by cold-pressed juices.

When we spoke to Claudine Guiua de Leon, one of the brilliant minds behind the event, her story lit up — every detail spilling with excitement, making it clear this was no ordinary reunion.

✨ Where Beats Met Breathe

On an afternoon where stormy skies threatened to cancel plans, the batch proved what they were made of — they showed up anyway. Despite weather and schedule conflicts, the event pushed through, designed a timely reminder of what matters most: showing up for yourself, and for each other.

“This wasn’t just about raising funds for the Velada,” Claudine said, “it was a much-needed dose of self-love and self-care to jumpstart our minds and bodies for the busy months ahead.”

💃 Movement, Memory, and Mid-Life Joy

With Yin Yoga and Dance Yoga at its core, the program was purposefully curated to be as intentional as it was invigorating. Flow Retreats brought the zen, while Sexy Beast Juices brought the zest — nourishing both body and spirit. And as familiar house and techno beats pulsed through the space, everyone was transported back to the dance floors of the early 2000s, when rave culture ruled and their spirits were just as bold.

Zen mode: interrupted by spontaneous groove sessions. Just another day with the unstoppable Batch 2000

It wasn’t just movement — it was memory in motion. Dance Yoga ignited their core memories, while Yin Yoga grounded them gently in the present . “It was both challenging and soothing for our 40+ year-old bodies,” they laughed – “A stretch of strength and surrender.”

💗 Sisterhood, Sweat & the Sound of Children Running

The atmosphere? Electric — yet tender. There was laughter, chatter, and even a bit of chaos, thanks to little ones running around. But even that was beautiful – a reflection of where they are now — women juggling it all, and still finding time for joy, for breath, and for each other.

🌿 Wellness as a Ripple

What Beats. Breathe. Beast. affirmed was simple: wellness isn’t just about fitness. It’s a quiet decision to choose yourself — not in isolation, but in order to better love, serve, and connect with others.

“A touch of wellness echoes so beautifully into one’s womanhood,” Claudine added. “It creates a ripple of joy anchored on moments of choosing self, in order to reach others.”

In those stretches and shared laughter, in those house beats and healing breaths, the women of Batch 2000 didn’t just reconnect — they re-rooted. In friendship. In faith. And in the kind of fierce, feminine energy that only grows deeper with time.

Two hands, adorned with vibrant beads, gently clasped—a symbol of shared strength, self-love, and the beautiful bonds forged through wellness and sisterhood. Here’s to choosing ourselves, so together we rise, rooted in friendship, faith, and fierce feminine energy.

🌀 Legacy in Motion

Now well into their early forties, Assumption Batch 2000 embraces this season with grace and joy — still glowing, still turning heads. “We put the cool in old school,” Claudine quipped. “We are the batch that bridges the old and new millennia — from analog and paper, to digital and the cloud.”

Their legacy? It’s not just in memories made — but in the movement forward. They are the pulse between tradition and transformation. And as they dance into their Velada year, one thing is certain: the beat goes on.
