PASAKDAL – DELA PAZ, TES

COLLEGE 1984

Aside from the fact that I was positively influenced by my very good friend, Tina Arrozal-Garcia, I came to realize that the talents and resources that I have can be put to better use and hopefully, produce greater impact by joining an organization whose cause and vision is towards social transformation.

  1. Why are you running for AAA’s BOT?

Aside from the fact that I was positively influenced by my very good friend, Tina Arrozal-Garcia, I came to realize that the talents and resources that I have can be put to better use and hopefully, produce greater impact by joining an organization whose cause and vision is towards social transformation.

  1. What do you think you can contribute to the AAA Board (or to the AAA?)?

Having been in the corporate world for almost 40 years, rose the corporate ladder to my current post and focused 15 years of those in learning, training and development for the various layers of talents in my current organization; I can share my expertise in planning, design and implementation of projects and programs. Specifically, in the areas where relevant projects/programs will focus on preparing our students to the real world of work and becoming women of faith and action by contributing to sustainable social transformation activities. These are embedded in the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

  1. What gifts have you received from the Assumption and how have you used them to give back to AC or the bigger community?

I am blessed to have benefitted from the AC education that is holistic and a community that supports and recognizes the talents and abilities of its students. I got involved again with AC during the Velada 2020. The experience was enjoyable! It again showcased the rich and unique talents of AC girls from different batches. Seeing it now from the lens of career persona/ professional, I would like to optimize the AAA BOT platform to reach out and give back to AC while optimizing and leveraging on the resources of the AC graduates.
