Women of Faith, Women of Action

Generations of Assumption College graduates banded together to perform an original composition by  Dr. Carmen “Pinky Valdes, past president of Assumption College, and Leanne Mamonong and Naara Acueza.  Leanne and Naara are Performing Arts graduates of the College and are indie pop/singers and songwriters currently signed to Warner Music Philippines.

More than just friends, the College “Old Girls” is a sisterhood that is both powerful and meaningful, creating strong connections and sense of community that last forever.  Their choice of song for the 2020 Velada is an expression of their fidelity to Saint Marie Eugenie’s call to

“Form women of faith and women of action attuned to the tensions of our times, in love with freedom, and inspired by the Gospel values.”

Living our faith is an everyday, outward expression of our love for God and what He is doing in our lives. It’s a choice that we must make, and it’s one that impacts everyone around us.

One with Saint Marie Eugenie, our College “Old Girls” invite you to  “Act your faith Now! ”
