“LOVE NEVER SAYS I HAVE DONE ENOUGH”. We were created in the image and likeness of God. God is love and likely so we are love itself. This has been my inspiration in life , as an individual, a wife, mother and now head of the Volunteer group of the St. Luke’s Medical Center. It is only in loving that we can truly give of ourselves and experience real joy and happiness when we share our time, talent and resources to others especially those who are in need. Love is a 2 way process too. For us to give love, we have to have love for we cannot give what we do not have. We have to enter our inner self and try to discover if we ourselves are lovable. Because if we are, then everything follows; lasting relationships are made. It will be easier to be examples of love to others and above all they can see the love and goodness of God in us .
During the pandemic, the love of the Eucharist has grown deeper. The daily benedictions, adoration and masses we have been exposed to has blessed me in my spiritual journey which I have lovingly shared with my husband and children.
In whatever vocation of life we are in, we should still love. As long as we love – peace and harmony will reign. “It is to be a person for others that is important in this life. We accumulate treasures not of this world”.
