SISTER MARY DENISE OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD

By Tita Bonna also known as Sr. Paula Victoria, RA

From the days of childhood laughter,

To the halls where knowledge grew,

You stood as a beacon, a light so true,

A good student, a teacher too.

In classrooms filled with eager minds,

You shared wisdom, gentle and kind.

From textbooks to life’s grand design,

You taught many and touched lives.

A teacher for several years before,

You entered now, with faith to explore.

Still enjoying the company of students and peers,

Your cheerful giving, dispelling fears.

Your compassion, a guiding light,

In darkest times, it shines so bright.

Through trials, the vows, so hard to keep,

With grace, you made it, your faith runs deep.

Now, at 36, you take this solemn commitment,

A ray of grace, a journey of faith,

Sr. Mary Denyse, we are proud of you,

For the path you’ve chosen, pure and true.

The Good Shepherd calls your name,

A mystery you’ve prayed and chosen

With a heart so full of love and peace,

You lead others to a sacred space.

From Janyn Joy, a name of the past,

To Sr. Mary Denyse, a name that will last,

Your story unfolds, a divine quest,

In God’s embrace, you find your rest.

In Iloilo Community, where challenges and growth flow,
Gratitude to the Sisters for the love they show.
With open hearts and hands that give,
They embody the spirit of how to truly live

May your days be blessed with peace,

Assured that God is with you always.

As you guide and teach, with love so deep,

In the Good Shepherd’s care, your soul will keep.
