SME Kwentuhan
SME Kwentuhan is a project initiated by AAA’s Faith and Spirituality Committee, which allows the alumnae to learn more about our Foundress, St. Marie Eugenie through stories or kwentuhan. Learning through stories make it more relatable, relevant and real.
We started the project with an SME Kwentuhan with the Board of Trustees. We were privileged to have Sr. Ana Maria Melocoton and Sr. Sheryl Reyes as our speakers. We talked about the Paschal moments in SME’s life and ours, and also about discernment – SME’s, Sr. Sheryl’s and ours. The experience was enriching and moving that we decided to organize an SME Kwentuhan for the Alumnae.
We invited Sr. Gertrude Borres to be our speaker, and what was planned for one session became a series of 4 sessions. The SME Kwentuhan Nun-Flix series was born, bringing the purple dots and the alumnae together, talking about the life of SME and our own lives. As One Assumption, we journeyed together, through the life of St. Marie Eugenie, covering the chapters of the book by Helene-Marie Bories, RA.
